Missions

We covenant together to commit ourselves wholly to the universal church by means of prayer, financial assistance and other forms of service.

GBC supports many different missionary or missionary organizations:

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering – The International Mission Board (IMB) trains and sends missionaries all over the world, including a family from GBC.

Great Commission Alliance – GBC supports the work of the GCA that trains up pastors and missionaries around the globe. Our members Chris and Michelle Kachuriak are a part of this organization.

Mission Gatesville – Started in January 2023 by GBC members, the goal of Mission Gatesville is to spread the gospel and pass out non-perishable food items to those in Gatesville in need, no questions asked. Currently bags are passed out the 1st&3rd Thursdays mornings at 301 N. Lutterloh from 10am-noon on a 1st come 1st served basis.

Righteous Roots – A Gatesville-based ministry assisting individuals suffering from abuse, as well as offering counseling classes for a variety of topics, all based on the bible.
