Welcome!!

What to Expect at GBC

Visiting a church for the first time can be scary! Hopefully this helps ease the nervousness!

We’d love to have you join us on Sunday!

Below is some info that we hope you’ll find helpful.

Sunday Worship Service 10:45am :

Our worship services are centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Word of God. Our desire each week is for the message of the gospel, namely, that sinners can be restored to a right relationship with God by turning from their sin and entrusting themselves to Jesus Christ, will be clearly and winsomely presented as we read, preach, sing, and pray the truths of God’s word. We also have the joy of seeing the gracious work of God displayed visibly to us through the Lord’s Supper and in baptisms.

Musically we sing a variety of songs from hymns to modern praise – depending on who is there on Sundays we have a full band with piano, keyboard, drums, bass/acoustic/electric guitars, banjos, trumpets and more. We’re blessed with a very talented worship band!

Sunday School 9:30am:

We provide a 0-3yr old class, 3yr-K class, a 1st-3rd grade class, a 4th-6th grade class, a Jr. High class for 7th-8th grade, a High school class for grades 9th-12th, and an Adult class.

All Sunday school classes are currently using the same material from the Gospel Project, so that everyone is learning the same subject weekly, creating opportunities to expand on the lesson during family worship that week.

We also have a cry room available during our worship service for nursing mothers that allows them to care for their children while still being able to participate in the service with one-way glass.

Nursery for 0-3yr olds is available during the sermon (after the music). Our volunteers are Ministry Safe certified and eager to watch your child while you enjoy the sermon.

What should I wear?

You’re more than welcome to dress casual or dress up, you will fit in either way. The majority of our people will be in jeans.

How long does the service last?

Our worship services normally last an hour and a half (10:45 am to 12:15 pm).

We hope this helps answer some of the questions you may have. If you have any other questions or would like to know more about us as a church please feel free to contact the church office at (254) 248-0053.
